Made my first clutch!  I’ve never had one before .. not really a purse person.  More like a backpack person.  But backpacks don’t cut it for formal days.  I’m going on a cruise so I might as well rock it with this marvel fabric.  Heck to the yeah.  My sister said I should make more and sell them on etsy.  We shall see when I get back.  Would you be interested?

I realized I had a ton of Cal fabric left over from my sister’s first bag, so I decided, might as well make another bag with it.  I like this bag a lot more than the blossom bag due to the fact that it was so much easier to make!  I think I may have enough fabric left to make another one.  Bleh, we’ll see.

Sewed this bitch together, finally.  I was getting mad with this bag cause I kept messing up and I wasn’t liking how the pattern looked at this bag.  Got this fabric from Thrift Town when summer began and it’s suppose to be for pillow covers.  Just wanted to give it a go.  It’s whatever. Not too happy with it, but it works.  This bag is smaller than what the pattern calls for.  After making my sister’s Cal blossom bag, I realized that the pattern was huge.

This is the ending result of the bag I’ve been working on for my sister.  I’ll find out tonight if she likes it or not.  But then again, maybe I’ll find out tomorrow since I’ll be out tonight. BAG!!
Edit: Bag was made from this pattern created by Amy Butler.

Sewing Away!!!

I’m a machine!! I just finished the main part of a purse I’m making for one of my sisters.  I’m not quite sure she’s going to want it.  This purse is larger than I thought it would be.  I made it with UC Berkeley fabric, since my sister went there.  Thought it would be nice.  I just need to add dividers and I’m done. If she doesn’t like it, I guess I’m just going to sell it.

Next on the list for the day, MAKE SOME MORE WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAALES!!!  Mr. Fancy Whales!

RAWR

ROAR!!!!

Edit: Crap … I lost my favorite sewing needle.

I just got my two DIY Omis!!!!  I’m very excited to get working on them!  I hope I finish in time for The Omi Show!!
