Friends wanted to have another kinetic type-off. Goal was to complete something within 24 hours but then it got pushed to 48 hours. I only got 4 of those hours and here’s what I turned up with.

I few people from school decided to have a little friendly kinetic typography competition. Our prompt was a short clip from a Family Guy episode and we were to create something within the span of 24 hours. I probably was only able to put 6-7 hours on it. I think it came out alright. Definitely have things to learn.
Another one of my comps for this quote. My boyfriend and I were sitting in cafe and he began doodling in my sketchbook and we started to talk about that joke about how those olive branches make things official. As a joke I decided to recreate those branches on Illustrator and then make them look like some leaves are falling for the whole idea that love isn’t perfect like a movie. Lovers still have fits and don’t always agree on everything, but love still comes out to fix those fits … sometimes.
My first concept for this Arthur Flowers assignment my Typography class has. I realize mine is very plain and quite boring. Others have their ideas exploring new boundaries and I’m kinda just … meh. Ugh … creativity … why are you not present?

My letters are F and Y in Edwardian Script. I wanted to create the idea about how my life has been all about trying new things and taking new routes in life. There are so many things I want to do, but only so much time. It also ended up that my two letters created the word life.
